Emma got to come to her cousin Jenna's birthday party which is a big treat for us cause we dont get to see her much. She was having fun with Kade's hat and braclet and then we all took turns feeding her cake. I just love her and wish I could see her more.

It's Brittney's 22nd birthday tomorrow! Holy crap I'm OLD! I remember her 1st birthday. She was sick and not very happy! She is spending this birthday in the sand on the other side of the world. Hope they give her cake!! We miss her and love her!

We lost another kitty yesterday. Kade accidently ran over Kari the Kitty and smooshed its guts out. It layed there all day befor Kade noticed it. Any way Nicole was very broken hearted ....again.....but it was so sweet to watch Kade cuddle with her on her bed and hug her and giver her kisses and say sorry. Now we cant find Jackie the Kitty she must have ran scared if she saw her sister get ran over, and is now lost. Still looking tho. Colee says if we cant find her in a week we have to go adopt an abused animal from a shelter. HUMMM!! Ever sence Russell shot our best cat ever that we had for 5 years, we cant seem to keep anymore cats alive. Oh wells.

Kade turned 16 last June. Didn't do to much except for our usual cook outs. I was fun this year because instead of us all singing happy birthday to him, every one took turns singing to Kade. We asked who wanted to sing and Konner volunteered so he went and stood right in front of kade and sang happy birthday. Daniel sang next then Jack, then Gina and finally Tia and Brycen. It was so fun to watch them all go stand right in front of him to sing. I got it all on video but I cant get it to post. Happy Birthday to my Kader Potater!!!!

I came home from work this morning and Colee made me the cutest little boat! It was the sweetest thing ever!! When she got up she told me she would save me from icy water and let the sharks eat her just to save me...AWE!! I just love her!! :)

Kade got to spend 4 days in Wyoming last week as it was our stakes year to go on the pioneer trek. He really didn't want to go at all but I made him and I'm glad I did. He had a great time with a couple of spiritual experiances that have definatly changed him for the good. I was so impressed at his growth when he got home I almost cried. Kade was able to walk a bit but had to ride the little cart most of if. (you can see it in one of the pictures) See if you can pick him out in the pictures.

Kade had his yearly check up at Shriner's today. His left foot is slowly deteriating and should expect arthritis soon. That totally sucks since he isn't even 15 yet. Not much they can do for it now just keep an eye on it. He has also developed plantar phisitis and since he has very limited movement there is not much for him to do to be able stretch it out. Totaly sucks cause I have it and I know how bad it hurts and stretching makes it so much better.I added some of his xray photo's cause I thought they were cool.

Nicole had her first piano recital saturday. She did soooo good. She played Alegretto 1. She was also one of 3 that had their peice memorized. She definatly has a talent for memorizing songs after about a week of playing it. I was so proud of her.

We had a very tragic loss at our house last night. We found Nicole's cat, Mittens. Mitten's was a special cat given to her by her friend MaKenna last June. As most of you know Mitten's went missing right after christmas. We had the big storm and thought she got lost. Nicole spend days looking for her and asked all of her friends who lived out by us to help look for it. Russell came up and shot all of the wild cats so we thought for sure he had shot her too. ( he swore he didn't). Well with all the warm weather we have been having the snow melted so much that it uncovered the body of our loveable cat. We found her laying on top of an almost gone snow pile. Soft on one side and still froze to the snow on the other. Concluding that the cause of death was she got in the way when her Grandpa Doyle brought the tractor down to scrap the drive way. He must have dropped the bucket full of snow on her and buried her. So sad! Nicole cried for over an hour, so then we said a little prayer. After that, she made a nice box to put Mittens in. We all wrote a little something on it. Then the following morning we went out and buring her. We had to put her by the house cause that was the only place the ground was thawed out enough to dig. We are now looking for a new "special" cat that looks like mittens to make Nicole happy again.

We had a family fun day the last of December. I think every one but Jodi's family was there. Nicole had so much fun with her new sled. Kade thought he was to cool to go sleigh riding. But it was so much fun. Dad used the tractor to make a big pile for us. Brandon was so funny...he wanted to be the first one to go down. As he got to the top you could tell he was struggling a bit so as I yell at him to be careful his feet went up over his head as he fell back the otherside. oh well i guess you needed to see it. SO FUNNY. Then Bub was driving the 4-wheeler out in the field with Russ on the back and started going full throttle towards a jump. He so didn't slow down as Russell bailed out mid air. He looked like he was running in air. He biffed it so bad that he had to clean out his snow suit. No he didn't crap himself but he did filled it with snow. Another funny moment was when super Bub wanted to jump this big pile of snow and land in the fresh snow of the bar pit. Well it was a great jump but he buried it so deep his winch couldn't even get him out. You know it's stuck when you need a tractor to pull you out. This was a super fun day but it left me sick for the next 3 weeks. What the....

The Bosworth Family had a great christmas this year. Kids got spoiled as usual. Kade loved his new TV and 360 and Nicole loved her remote control spider and PSP. Joe got a cell phone finally and is trying to learn how to use it. Brittney didn't make it for Chirstmas morning because of the big storm we had. They left Oceanside around noon and didn't make it to SLC til 4 am. They had to drop off one of her marine buddies and his parents made them stay the night there. They left the next day at noon and then passed Nathan off the side of the road and turned around to help be he got out by then. So they back tracked abit. but they did finally make it. Thank goodness.
I miss getting to see Brit all the time. You should see how long her hair is. Brit and TJ had a good christmas also. They both got revolvers. After we opened our presants it is tradition to go to Nada's for breakfast which is always YUMMY. We thought we wouldn't make it though through all the snow drifts. SCARRY. So we ate and didn't stay too long so we could make it home befor the roads got any worse. We spent the rest of the day in our new jammies and watched movies the rest of the day.

WOW! Can you believe my cute little Brit turned out to be a MARINE! Seem like just yesterday I was packing her around on my hip now she is 20 and expecting a baby of her own. I hope she has one that was just like her. hehehe Then maybe she will appreciate me more. And I can be the one just sitting back and laugh just like my Dad did with me. I am so very proud of Brit. She has made some good choices in her life and I admire her high standards. There isn't anything she can't do when she has her mind set. YOU GO GIRL!! I am glad we have men and women like Brit to protect and serve our country. With out them we would not have a great and save place to live.

Colee had her christmas program last night. She got to dress up as an angel. Her grandma Nada made her dress the night before in about 15 minutes. (That's super Nada for you). She looked so pretty. She got to be in the front on the grand finally so we (me, Tansy, Nada and Kade) went about 50 minutes early to get a front row. She said it made her so nervous with us two feet away.

Nicole is almost 9 and in the third grade. She likes riding and playing piano. She is very friendly to everyone even if they are not frendly back. She loves animals, especially her pony Scout and cat Mittens. She is hoping for a remote control spider for christmas. Colee also spends alot of time with her great grandma Lillian. They both laugh just the same. (SO FUNNY)

Colee also wants to be just like her big sister..a marine! I hope she changes her mind. It is funny how her and Brit are so similar, they have alot of the same funny little gestures.

Kade is my middle child and only boy. He is 14 1/2 and a freshman at Malad High School. They had their big christmas concert this week. Kade had to wear a tux!!! He looked so handsome. He plays the saxaphone in Concert Band and also the guitar. He so thinks he rocks. (and he does)!!
Kade definatly has music in him. I hope I can talk him in to staying in band. He is tired of playing the sax after 4 years of it. And he thinks being a "band geek" is killing his rep. WHAT EVER!! Anyway Kade is pretty much a great kid with lots of big dreams. I just love him sooo sooo much. I can't beleive he will start driving in March. Where does the time go? Remember when he use to dress up in a suit and tie just to go to school? How about when he gave himself a concussion in the first grade cause he liked running while looking back behind him. I do beleive he missed the hall way at grandpa's a few time's.

November wrap up

Today is the last day of november. WOW this month went by fast. Nothing to exciting happened. Brittney got to come home twice. Once for veteran's day and again on Thanksgiving. It is always good to see her but she never gets to stay very long. Sisterday this month was cool. We went to Body World in Salt Lake. It was very interesting and kind of sick all at the same time. Oh it was also report card time this month. Kade and Colee are doing good in school except I can't beleive Tia would give her nephew such a bad grade....what the??!!?? j/k We had a good thanksgiving at Nada's. I like to go there cause I don't have to bring anything and I only have to wash MY dish. After, we went to dad's for desert and played games while the guy's went trap shooting. So the the things I am most thankful for are ...my family, my home, my church, my country and for my ancesters who giving up everything to come to this country so I could be where I am today.

Today is the anniversary of my Mom's death 11 years ago. It is funny how something as tragic as losing a mother could turn out to be such a positive change in one's life. She has done so much more for me being on the other side than she could have done for me in this life. So I am going to share my list of great things she has done for me and helped me with since she became "My Angel"!!!
1.quit smoking
2.get back into church
3.made it to the temple
4.started playing piano again
5.made peice with my sisters
6.opportunity to get to REALLY know my dad
7.learn the true meaning of FAMILY
8.how to get things done MYSELF
Well these are just a few that mean the most to me. I remember shortly befor Mom died, all three of us girls all went shopping with mom...That was the day she told us her life was complete. Knowing that her girls did something together made her happy and fulfilled, thus inspiring Sister Day. Thanks Mom!!
